Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek

A Poem by Cassiopeia

I ran as fast as I could.

Hide behind a tree,

Hide behind a wall,

I told myself.

But he found me.

He always did.

The game’s over, he said.

I fought back

But he had enough.

No more games.

No more hiding.

No more seeking.

Goodbye.

The last words I’ll ever hear.
