I Wish

I Wish

A Poem by poetdweller
"

THings I wish I could do, especially the first.... perhaps a birthday present early or somethin... i dunno... It would be fun to camp...

"

I wish that I could go camping

With or without my family

Just to sleep in wilderness

Away from cars,

And unnatural lights

Mother nature,

Just her and me.

I've only gone thrice.

I want to see the canyon,

Its grand and vastness lay,

WIth colored rock,

Rushing streams,

Wanting a canvas to sing to.

I want to see the arches,

Where wind has had its fun,

And created a play house,

Just for me to feast apon,

For my eyes

I want to see Alaska,

Its beauty,

Raw and fresh,

Grizzlies, moose, and Polar Bears,

ANd visit the Chiphoot trail.

I want to be a rancher,

Perhaps just for one summer,

STrap up my cowboy boots,

Saddle some horses,

Or milk some jolly fat cows.

I wish for new experiences,

To teach me,

And let me free

I like this. I wish I could write a list of things I would like to do or places I'd like to go. It's harder than it looks. I enjoyed this.
