Abandonment IV-V

you don't have to read them in order...

Abandonment IV

You finally look me in the eye
And say you'd like to hang out
I ask a day you say you can't
But then after an event that I asked
You go off a improvised plan to hang out.
I ask where you're going,
After being behind you and listening to you
Ranting on about how much you love them
Opening the wound.
And you invite me, nonchalantly,
Non-enthusiastically,
And I go.
Then, at half past the hour,
You call your mom,
In front of me,
Asking if they can spend the night.
Pouring acid on the wound.
Luckily, they can't, their mom says no.
So I ask, and WOW!
SHE HAS A MAGICAL SOMETHING
THAT SHE FORGOT ABOUT!
Numbing the wound.
This is enough.
Of.
Her.
Do you?

Abandonment V

You trip over me
in the hallway.
You act like you haven't seen anybody
that you know.
And you apologize.
Yes.
You?
Apologize?
I laugh at that oxymoron.
Sorry sister, the greatest oxymoron
Though its true!
Out of your lips came the words
"Oops. Sorry."
If only you'd really apologize
for what you've really done.
Tricked me into loving you
Then ripped me apart
But,
Of course,
You won't.
You b***h.
