What good is a day with hope?

What good is a day with hope?
The hard snow will show how even the sky deserves its freedom,
or we wouldn’t live,
and someday you may too be free.
The hiding birds, too slow to leave can have shelter,
and someday you may be sheltered from your inner storm,
the voices assaulting cruelly will silence.
The leaves that have died for winter will re bud on the trees, new life,
and someday you will grow more appreciated
and even more beautiful.
A day with hope is beyond incredible.
