The Night Whispers

The Night Whispers

A Poem by poetic-raven2012

The Night Whispers

The night whispers to you sacrifice!,
in a voice scratched and
aged by the sands of time.

This tongue has the
flavor of language long lost,
and eyes of a color no longer seen.

He watches for my sacrifice,
and he laughs as I bleed.

He feeds off of my life,
just as I survive off of my own pain,
and as I try to sneak away,
he calls sacrifice to me again,
and the anciently peppered voice
always drags me back;

he feeds on my metal pains.
