Christmas Reflections

Christmas Reflections

A Poem by Poetic Beauty

Sitting quietly looking
At the Christmas tree
While hot apple pie is cooking
Making my stomach growl with glee

The lights twinkling
In all different colors
As sugar on the pie, I'm sprinkling
And the house smells like sweet butters

The angel on top smiling down
As I sip my hot rich coffee
In this moment there is no sound
As I sit so calm and peacefully

The growing patient with love
Enjoying the music playing softly
As outside snow falls from above
Causing me to stare crossly

Silent reflections of the past
Making me smile and feel
Completely warm inside at last
Loving the quiet moment I steel.
