Wishing and Wanting

This is a poem that I wrote last year after going through a very traumatic experience in my life.

Tired of feeling restless and alone
Frustrated, letting out a throaty groan
Missing life before the aching pain
Wishing to stop the tears of rain

Wanting to move past the feeling
wanting to start emotional healing
hating feeling, so utterly betrayed
But those stones have been laid

Wishing anger didn't exist
That no one would use their fist
needing comfort and great love
Knowing I shall stand, rise above

Pushing painful thoughts away
Keeping the wet tears at bay
Betrayal will slowly begin to fade
An new happiness shall be made

I feel the pain in this...Some poetry is just for that, to share pain, or display the feeing of it...Hopefully you have risen above it. By reading your poetry, I can tell you are rising higher and higher..
