To a fancy.

To a fancy.

TO A FANCY.

Does she see me with no indifference
Sweet fancy’s look which allows an advance
Bewitched enchantment are eyes inference
Do I now permit love to take a chance

In this pleasured ideal, this contentment
Does smiled invite lead to introduction
In accord to such sweet illusion lent
And value of her smile is seduction

Now she apprises and is eyebrow raised
To my advance is her greet to attract
Her smile is delight in slow greeting lazed
And temptation is all divine’s compact

That softest look, that come-hither appeal
Is to fancy and of what is not real
