Love's harvest

LOVE’S HARVEST.

Love, in its ripe time is in abundance
It is merry fruit’s fill for collection
There is no remit or heart redundant
It is basket’s fill of sweet selection

Should intervention, winter’s discontent
Stunt fruition’s growth, a disappointing
That a losing is sweet heart’s merriment
And sadness is to summer’s disjointing

Dear love is a nature’s all-round affair
It works to an earth’s hard disadvantage
Sun’s shining, unhappy winter’s despair
The softening air and a storm’s outrage

Love’s harvest is to fertilised grounding
Rewarded by fruition’s sweet rounding
