THIS BEAUTIFUL ROUND.

Who is to argue of this Earth’s affair
This majestic orb which orbits the Sun
Humanity grazes to a timed share
From when an inhabit was first begun

Who would argue over land never owned
Or any flower which smiles to the Sun
We exist for a pleasuring and loaned
This life’s experience, energy’s run

What is a rock or a mountainous range
Can we take it with us when we expire
Is this Earth contracted, for our arrange
It outlives us all, this gracious entire

What is sad war when no battle is won
This beautiful round is tied to the Sun

Such a flowery ode to the sun....and all she offers us. Indeed, we can enjoy the beauty of the flowers, the fields, and the mountains, but we will not be with them forever. The sun will. She will persevere and she will be able to enjoy the beauty eternally. Gorgeous imagery in this poem, Ron. Flawless rhyming as well. A great job. Lydi**
