RIP Capital STEEZ

RIP Capital STEEZ

A Poem by John Byrd

We capitalize every first letter of a sentence,
To show it's importance.
And to help us understand.
King Capital STEEZ.
Rest in Paradise.
Maybe one day I'll see you there
And hear you rap live.
It's sad that I didn't discover you until after your death.
The poetry that flowed from your lips
Was flawless.
Your similes and metaphors
were out of this world.
Only a genius could create those connections.
A rebel with a cause,
Truths poured out of your heart.
Your heart in your songs.
You may never know that you inspired me
To be a better me.
Write better than I did the day before.
You taught me that my story did matter.
That it was worth being documented and shared,
That I could change lives.
Conscious and aware.
I have to thank you some how.
Share your poetry.
Share your inspiration.
Share your wisdom.
Share that that each one of us are important...

John Byrd
RIP Capital STEEZ. My favorite rapper who is not alive. He committed suicide so I decided to try to write something about him.
