A Poem by poetic minds

I wish
to see your words
a dish
filled with your words

brave the wind
of winter dusk
never bend
or bight the crust

the outer layer is thick
where the heart is soft
you find time passes to fast
they turn the lights off

don't stop
just keep on driving
that's not
the soul depriving

lack of feeling
feeling in us
thumbs are numbing
so are the rest

slow beat and slow songs
moon dance, all night long

take her hand
and take a note
I can't stand
I only float

don't be caught in the scare
feeling fresh and flare
share a dance in the air
play it soft
baby I'll just stair

don't cut the corners out
they hold such a memory
don't want to be with out
when what happens, let it be

carry a smile
and a rhythm
an instrument
down the aisle

take a chance with the girl
as she takes hold your heart
come to see in the world
we stick or fall apart

I've got the pep in my pocket
she grinning as she's hold'n it

soak up the moment like the memory of a towel
