Affirmation.

 

Its seven years since we were wed.

Today I choose to look ahead.

I see more years of happiness

Content in our togetherness.

Erasing heart aches of the past.

Because we know our love will last.

Although there is no guarantee.

We’re sure we know the recipe.

It’s something we’re prepared to share

With everybody everywhere.

The three small words you need to say

Are “I love you” everyday.

Trust, love and mutual respect.

Will be sufficient I expect.

To let you know I love you still

and to confirm I always will.
