lights

lights

A Poem by freewriter234

before you go and walk your path

heed my words

there are lights that shine as you walk your path

begging you to pick them up

the lights that are bright

are the lights that has never seen true darkness

and thus be wary of it

for it shall flicker when you need it the most.

the lights that are the strongest and the weakest

yes, even the ones that probably won't turn on.

are the lights that have seen true darkness

pick them up.

for they will work even at the darkest hour.

guiding the path for you to see.

Now go,

and pick up the lights you deem fit

Author's Note

freewriter234
this is the first poem that I am putting out there. Please give me constructive criticism so that I know how to improve.

please also know that my style of poems are not all going to be like this. I'm more of a free verse and imagery type of poet.
