The Heart of a Soldier

So pure, so whole

Of all the things they see

Things you'd never hold

They lose close friends

Their own personal lover

There's no greater pain

Than the pain they all suffer

To see the things they see

To do the things they do

We all need to think

Of what they do for you

They have a deep passion

In fulfilling the pladge they made

They've learned many deplorable lessons

By serving these United States

But it's what they do

It's what they love

So we need to be greatful

Give them slight shoves

Because every 60 seconds they're there

Their lives are at stake

Every 60 seconds they're there

Destruction could be their fate
