The Downside

For three years I did not see

shut myself off completely

from the world around me

I was deaf to their pleas

begging me to leave

Screaming " He will kill you"

This boy doesn't love you

I turned my cheek

To painful evidence

to their loving benevolence

Just to stay blindly

deafly and incoherently

in love.

you're welcome.. with time age & time both get going but what's left behind is memories, and this is what makes us all utmost sad, esp. when we find ourselves helpless enough not to bring time and age back. how sad but realistic - 5 yrs long gone, though happy to see u alive!
