Temptation

A hint of temptation slips through

Why are you here?

Where did you come from?

Strength, I need strength

So I fail

I fall into the trap

Entangled in my own mess

Shame because I could have overcame

But I did not

Because I did not want to

God was right there waiting

Waiting for me to ask

But I did not

Is it because I no longer am chasing?

Chasing after you?

Coincidence?

I fail when I am far

God I am tired of failing
