Winter Moments

Winter Moments

A Poem by Pradipna Lodh
"

For some people like me, winter is always a tragedy as it breaks me to the core but still I love winter. This is just an extension of my thoughts with some cold expressions :)

"
It's a gloomy day today
Time floats on the despair scale of AM/PM
The degree keeps falling down
Freezing my soul first and then my mind
I pour brandy in a glass
Push myself towards the bonfire
My cat waves at me
Meowing from her cot
The chilling breeze has knocked me down
My hands are as solid as a rock
Still I wonder why I love winter so much
Is it because of the sight of the snow fall ?
Or the romantic view
Of the snow flakes on my window pane ?
