Desert Rose: Part 4

Desert Rose: Part 4

A Poem by PP
"

The storm!

"
Sinking into the depth
of one's own melancholy and thoughts
She was hoovering memories
from distant and near
Face to face with quaint appearances
of Life's mystical mane
She came face to face with Her Own Self
In silence
She spoke
So many words
With various meanings
She picked herself up
Signed a contractual agreement
To shine up to glory
against all odds
In the Desert she rose again
Gripping her feet tight on lose sand
amidst a desert storm..
Barren are her thoughts
Lit up frantically
dim enough to offer her a camouflage
But bright enough
to set ablaze
the piping hot desert air..
Mystery..thy name is she...
Who is she?
What is her identity?
There she goes
looking for the desert rose!

I really love this series - I always feel stronger after reading one of your Desert Rose pieces.

In silence
She spoke
So many words
With various meanings

This stands out to me - very meaningful.

Who is she?
What is her identity

I have no doubt that she herself knows! Great write, Prathama!

The indefatigable and creative spirit--your poem captures it brilliantly.

Thank you Pryde for your lovely review :)
There is is among that internal and external storm and she has to face the most difficult task many of us will face...looking at our true selves and facing what we are. I liked her drive to overcome in this one (Signing the agreement to be better, no matter the odds). That is my favorite part of this one. Do I feel a Desert Rose: Part 5 in the making?

I've really liked this series from you. Some of your best works on WC I think :-)
