VALUE

VALUE

A Poem by pratishtha

when people wanted to speak,

i was there to hear them.

when i wanted to speak,

there was no one to give a look.

when people cried,

i was there to wipe their tears,

when i cried there was no one to ask.

when people needed me,

i was there to help them.

when i needed them,

they walked turning their back.

this world dosen't value you,

till you dont learn to value yourself.

Absolute truth. Why should they value you if you don't value yourself
One fact you can't deny you are unique.
But if you choose to be a doormat don't compain if people wipe their feet on you
