A Long Believer

A Long Believer

A Poem by preoccupied
"

The uncertainty that comes with religion. Holding on to faith.

"
Shifty eyes, lips could be dripping lies
In a skeptic century, stays a long believer
In a palace open to all
Holding the truth without proof
For hope in a wise man's lines

I'm not a person of faith, but appreciated this poem nevertheless. Holding onto faith must be such a challenge, and it is cool hearing that sentiment expressed.
