jamie's evanescent

jamie's evanescent

A Poem by princess elie
"

a poem written for someone i had to let go

"
grant me the sight of your heartfelt smile.
allow the soft petal of your soul'd vessel
curve the warmth of your spirit
a fathomless grimace will do
for me to have a last straw to reminisce you
i am letting you go..

lock me in a one-second embrace.
a serenity for a moment in a timeless universe;
a one-second eternity.
allow me to dwell in your warmth,
for one solid oblivion of darkness.
i am setting you free...

shed a tear for me as you glance for the last time
a seal to a long-forgotten memory.
kiss away the sweet torturing moments of our bliss,
leave the agony as it is.
your tear will give this heart its last fret.
i am giving you to the universe..

A very beautiful poem. Seconds become important with age. One last embrace and kiss leave us with good memory of love lost and missed. i loved how you used the language to create vision of desire and memory. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
