Release

Release

A Poem by pringle
"

Just something I wrote down in a lecture.

"

I'm scratching,
clawing,
dying to escape this.

Its presence strangely reassuring
in a world that gets so crazy.
The descent envelopes me
and makes me safe in a world of instability.

I've spun my web of glorified dreams
and wait patiently, so patiently
for them to crawl into my grasp.

You will never complete me
but I will never let you go
.

A slave to my own insecurities
I wonder who I've become.
I'm right back where I was
and I'm craving release.
