Thank You

I wrote this for my best friend, though he has never seen it. It is also one of my earlier writings. Enjoy.

I look into your eyes,

I see the happiness inside.

Your smile gives me a light,

a light that shines so bright.

We're both so damaged,

we're both so broken.

But we've made it through,

this harsh life together.

I will always be with you,

no matter how far away you are.

I will still love you,

no matter how long you'll be gone.
