Polly Esther

A Poem by Pete
"

Well-behaved women seldom make history. - Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

"
Pin on hair

Complex to excess.
Strutting like a flamingo atop platform shoes.
Ringing lime-green, bell bottoms.
Beads dangling from nape.
Two fingers raised in peace of mind.
A colloquial charlatan.
Reaffirming groovy and cool.

Epitome of a heady hippie.
Eden's wild, flower child.
High, glazed essence of sativa.
She'll never leave 'ya.
A seventies ancestor.
Say hello to ...
... Polly Esther ...

“Wherever a man separates from the multitude, and goes his own way in this mood, there indeed is a fork in the road, though ordinary travelers may see only a gap in the paling. His solitary path across lots will turn out the higher way of the two.” - Thoreau
