Win Some Lose Some

ROLLING THE DICE ON THE WILL OF GOD | Every Nation Church, New Jersey

he rolled out of bed
his bones loaded
grabbing a morning coffee at 7-eleven
squinting snake eyes in the blinding morning sun

a hard luck story riding the rails on boxcars
the worst times were when things went down the crapper
the best when he made his point and folks listened
usually the hard way

always taking his chances
life was a gamble

I call that ManWrite.. full of how men think, act. Brilliant phrase, 'squinting snake eyes in the blinding morning sun, ' Your second stanza could stand alone as a b/w short, Pete.

Satriani's not bad either.
