Big Kids Don't Cry

Big Kids Don't Cry

A Poem by Pete
"

Man is the artificer of his own happiness. - Thoreau

"
don't cry for me
don't cry for argentina
don't cry for the gps on the santa maria, pinta or nina
don't cry in your farina
don't cry for my smelted heart's rusty patina
just laugh
laugh
laugh

laugh like a hysterical, spotted hyena

Author's Note

Pete
"We are made happy when reason can discover no occasion for it. The memory of some past moments is more persuasive than the experience of present ones. There have been visions of such breadth and brightness that these motes were invisible in their light." - Thoreau
