Shopping Carts | City of Palm Springs

iron butterflies make noise when the take off and land
you've gotta' sing or play an instrument to be in a band
no one says, "you missed one" to people raking sand
you've got to step into the light to get tanned
generic is still a brand

no big deal
which is better - to think or feel
along with the bad wheel
i never know what to do with the shopping cart when i'm done
i figure that it'll be grabbed by someone else's son

after all
hearts' desires are never done
praying isn't just for a nun
no one stretches before a bank run
you've got to have breath to fire a blow gun
so i just leave the rusty carriage there
for anyone and everyone
eve must have been quite the glowing cressida

in-a-gadda-da-vida
