Under A Heavy Sky

Just some random thoughts that came to me today.

gentle sighs surreptitiously rolling in and out

baby's breath waves relent and crash at the seashore

dreams and riches there and gone vanish like thin smoke

aspiration and perspiration

tears nothing more than morning dew

love remains

entrenched like a fortress

protected by an encircling moat

its song doesn't lie

it is incapable

unbreakable

inculpable

for whom we kneel and cry

through a lipsticked sun and blood orange moon

we came

we saw

we asked why

what happens when to this gelid world our ardent hearts die

ushered

under a heavy sky

It would be a wonderful thing for love to always remain, unfortunately that doesn't always happen which unfortunately, helps to keep too many lawyers employed

That has to be be one of Thoreau's better comments.

Yes, love's song never lies if love is true and sincere. Otherwise, the sky gets dark, and emotions crash against each other like lightning strikes.
