Make Music Not War

Make Music Not War

A Poem by Pete
"

Only the defeated and deserters go to war. - Thoreau

"
Peace song - Make music. Not war

over, under or even par
slammed shut or ever-so-slightly ajar
near or far
healing scar
jamming
wailing
musical notes over barbed wire scaling
nothing but smooth sailing
savage breast to ruthless czar
imagine a world where people who felt the need to make war,
instead blew up a harmonica, beat a drum or picked on a guitar

As a musician I highly approve. "wailing, musical notes over barbed wire scaling..." wonderful stuff
