Step to The "Right" (Please Remember The "Rules")A Poem by PeteWhen I read some of the rules for speaking and writing the English language correctly, I think any fool can make a rule, and every fool will mind it. - Thoreausure as a winter of discontent distracts and cools a summer of want stares and drools what tricks us misrepresents, deceives and fools all that doth glitter is not jewelsyou can neither build nor destroy without the proper tools that which teaches us schools heaven is for saved souls and hell for lost ghouls for good and bad, rhyme and reason, there's no diving allowed in the shallow end of pools that which openly mocks ridicules overwhelming, massive decrees or tiny, microscopic molecules carrying burdens uphill is best left to pack mules whether you breakdance, saunter and trudge in dark alleyways or riverdance, traipse and wander in well-lit, crowded streets, always remember that the mob rules © 2024 PeteAuthor's Note
