Heart And Soul

Heart And Soul

A Poem by Pete
"

I lose my respect for the man who can make the mystery of sex the subject of a coarse jest, yet when you speak earnestly and seriously on the subject, is silent. - Thoreau

"
Silhouette of Passion

lost in the lacteous, begotten highlands of twin, papillary peaks
the bittersweet taste of deceit upon your lips
hidden in the womb of moist, sacred folds
unspoken, covert recesses
i wanted your soul
all i got was your body

“The intercourse of the sexes, I have dreamed, is incredibly beautiful, too fair to be remembered. I have had thoughts about it, but they are among the most fleeting and irrecoverable in my experience.” - Thoreau
