clouds balked at a fragile moon

As clouds pass across the moon it can cast ghost like shadows below. I love the way thing seem mysterious and exciting at night sometimes

We have a few moonless nights lately with gray clouds floating across the sky
Excellent haiku Pete. Word choice ace, as is the imagery and posted artwork.
