Wizard of Cause

Wizard of Cause

A Poem by Pete
"

A man may walk abroad and no more see the sky than if he walked under a shed. - Thoreau

"
Golden river

in search of the mother load
with my fine, feathered hat and dreaded locks
before my aging body slowed
i followed the yellow brick road
in the direction that the black bird flew as the future crowed
lily pad to lily pad like a toad whilst glittering water flowed
'twasn't about the destination
but rather the journey traveled and how it was strode
