Birds of A Missing Feather

Birds of A Missing Feather

A Poem by Pete
"

This world is but a canvas to our imagination. - Thoreau

"

i carried van gogh's easel
mixed his paints
peeled potatoes and counted stars in the night sky with him
stuffed his pipe
even untied his shoes for him when he was too drunk
but did nothing when he asked me to help find his ear
probably because when he asked, i couldn't hear
