Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith

A Poem by Pete
"

Remember that the smallest seed of faith is of more worth than the largest fruit of happiness. - Thoreau

"
When a Leap of Faith Is the Best Way ...

as violins wept
a bittersweet symphony
faith crept, stepped and kept

In these chaotic times, faith seems in short supply, but I keep reminding myself that faith is not the belief that things will go as one wishes, but the belief that one will eventually be able to accept the things that will happen.

In a great leap of faith, Physicists believe in "dark matter" when the only evidence they have is math... A LOT of math, but it is no less a great leap to believe in God.
In my home universe, things make sense, not so much in this one... I just want to go home... please...

I loved this. I think faith and love should be like a James Bond martini in the novels. Stirred but not shaken.
