Church in The Wildwood

Church in The Wildwood

A Poem by Pete
"

Every child begins the world again. - Thoreau

"
Little Brown Church in the Vale ...

i don't think i'll ever forget
sunlight rejoicing through unstained glass
tiny hands pressed together
the four of us together, happy and hopeful
in that place where faith and flesh first met

manna falling from heaven like hail
eternity was ours
more than just another sunday
"shh", you said, "you're in god's house now"
at the little brown church in the vale

Comes a moment when it only needs a nudge and gentle lyrics to pause, hum and remember what's important. Fine words, new to me musica and - moments shared.

Dreamtime now..
