My World

There was a time when all I'd see
Was a glowing world of serenity
Where angels sang and no one cried
But, these days it seems that world has died
Now there is a field of agony
Hidden amongst pain and misery
A deafening silence fills my lair
With none around to hear my prayers

Long ago my paradise melt
Now I scream and cry for help
It's left a sea of despair
But, when's the last that someone cared?
And now the sea has turned to storm
Pouring from where my world was torn
It was once aglow with serenity
But now it's pain that's all I see
