the rise of the talkies

     The movie was over, and it felt like my life ended. It was the last movie I’ve ever stared in. I don’t know what’s next. The silent film era is over, and the talkies are taking over. I was never going to make it in talkies. What are people thinking, making films with sound. Well, I’m now out of work, because I don’t have the voice. Talking, talkies are not going to last. I can feel it, I feel it in my bones. I will soon be back on the big screen, or the silver screen I should say.
