Angel

Angel

A Poem by LynLee

Angel

She stretched her wings out as the sun started to show it's smile in the distance.

She looked around observing everything,

But he was observing her.

Her angelic golden curls falling down her back, across her glorious wings

Her perfect body,

long smooth arms cascading her sides

Long straight slim legs holding her up,

her neck turned and slanted ever so slightly

He knew she could see him.

She turned around and looked directly at him.

Her eyes observing and watching him.

Him observing the color of her eyes being the color of gold bars and the ocean all at once.

He felt his eyes creep up to stare at her wings.

The big feather-made wings that enveloped her as she closed them around her body.

Then suddenly she sprang them back out and flew away.

He watched her as she flew back into the sky,

and he knew it was her coming to say good-bye.
