Mystery Man

Mystery Man

A Poem by purpleunicorn8284

Staring into his beautiful, blue eyes,
Holding his soft hands in mine,
He starts to lean closer, my heart jumps out of my chest,
His lips land on mine, I freeze.

His hands slowly move to my waist,
I flinch, then pull him close to me,
The butterflies in my stomach start to disappear,
I close my eyes tight.

Then suddenly, it all stopped,
He looked at me with a dashing smile,
I smiled back at him while he backed away,
Then... He was gone.
