Rosie

Rosie

A Poem by purringfeline
"

This poem captures what I see when I take my dog, Rosie, for a walk.

"

Rosie

one pink tongue

peeping out of a smiley mouth

two bright eyes

shining with glee

three dry paws

with one already muddy

five senses, yet

one black nose quivering

one excited dog

happy

worth the world.

'three dry paws
with one already muddy'

this line made me giggle - she must have stepped in a puddle or something! i loved her 'smiley mouth' and her 'black nose quivering' but you did forget to mention her waggy tail! dogs make great pals, they never let you down and all they ever give you is their love. a wonderful poem.
