Flower Child

Flower Child

A Poem by phoebe wells
"

there is a silence in this world for the lovers and poets, our love is unique and beautiful. often abused for the beauty of it and abandoned when use runs dry

"
It all feels so perfectly unneeded
You didn’t have to
You could have said no, could have, would have should have
Human desire is a complex idea, human lust is a disgusting thing
unfortunately it’s nearly impossible for the consumed to know which the consumer possesses
Terribly tragic that connection is a currency, used in order to gain a temporary emotional advantage in life
The cost never seems clear, but it is
Not to the one obtaining with a heightened sense of self
Yet to the sacrificial lamb, one who is not there for entertainment or to enlighten but to simply experience
The circle will go on, the lamb will wash, the wolf grin
Separate paths will be forged
Horrors of being known will never cease to exist,
For the reality is there is no fear in truly being known and loved
Fear is within abandonment, judgment and abuse of power
knowing is the beauty, the perpetrator is the consumer
Meekness does not nullify intent
May the consumed live on, may there be a heaven for all who have felt the hell of experience laced with lies
At the hands of a weak human
Long live the flower children
