the light is turning black again

the light is turning black again

A Poem by Chole Voce

Rivers floating down to the sea

glass shattered in my palms

i've crawled in the summer sky

and my bones are weeping ruby tears.

withered stars talk silly things to me

tell me the ocean will swallow me

now ive gotten past the laughs of singing, ramshackle hooks;

a herd of dancing reflections

gravitates towards the breaking planet eclipse
