Ocean Eyes

Ocean Eyes

A Poem by Qavah Simchah

Shining a fire
Dark like the night
How can your eyes
Be both black and bright?

Quiet and constant,
The deepest ocean,
Still, then raging
With pulsing emotion

A tranquil-yet-turbulent
Mystery,
At peace with
Electricity,
And when they glitter,
It burns through me,
Like eating ice cream
Too quickly

And by your gaze, I’m
Swallowed down
Captive until
I gladly
drown

Could possibly be better. (shining not shinning) I think you did a good job but I think there's room for revising.
