Heartache

Heartache

A Poem by Qavah Simchah

If I stay broken,
I don’t have to break;
Holding tight to my scars,
I’m used to the ache

My pain is mine;
Stay out of my life.

If my tears were diamonds,
How much would you pay?
There's no price high enough
To purchase my pain

My pain is mine;
Stay out of my life.

Pieces of you
Cut like a knife.

Very good,
and the last two lines are perfect:
"Pieces of you
Cut like a knife."
