Heal (Decide to Live)

Heal (Decide to Live)

A Poem by Qavah Simchah

I saw deeper than the words
A hundred thousand hurts
Screaming at the walls of your
Blue eyes (blue eyes)

And it doesn't surprise me
Your mind moved so quickly
To think of what I wanted
From you (on the inside)

But shutup and
Listen to me (blue eyes):
It's what I don't see
That I really need (on the inside),
What you don't think and
What I don't want from you is...

I don't want you
To give up on you
Because to make this real
You just have to
Live

Decide to live

Don't ask me why I care
I will always be there
Looking to find
The choice you made in your eyes

Because
I don't want you
To give up on you
Deep in my heart I feel
You just have to
Live

Life is hard (cuts so sharp)
Feel the chains (in the dark)
But how far will you drag
Your war-torn body
Down this beaten path
If there's someone
Bleeding on a cross beside you
Dying for your life and he says,

"I don't want you
To give up on you
My scars are meant to heal
You just have to
Live"

Decide to live
Decide to live
