Shackles and Chains

Hath a man wear a mask
And his emotions are caged.
Thou never should bask
Amidst the shadows’ brace.

What time in eternal lines thou grow’st:
So long as men can breathe or in love feigns,
So long lives hope, sever thy shackles and chains.
