Eleven Red Clovers

Eleven Red Clovers

A Poem by Grey
"

A very 'unique' poem!

"
Eleven red clovers,
were different from the reset.
All the other clovers were pure.
But these eleven were believed to be from outer space.
Maybe they came from a long lost star.
No one knew their truth.

There once was a legend.
Eleven red clovers would soon emerge from the flames of the shadow.
When they emerged the Crisp Chip song rang through out the hills and beyond.
Their becoming would bring fever to all the people.
Glass would break in all the windows.
And all birds would lose their feather.
These eleven clovers had brought chaos
And must be destroyed.

One old fellow was walking on the dirt path,
he came across the red clovers.
He put them in a basket and thought they'd make good salad.
The old man weighted them on the scale,
weighing 58 pounds, that was odd.
He spread glitter all over them.
Making them sparkle in the sun.
Then began to beat them with a chisel.
Soon crushed.
And finally destroyed.
And with that the old man yelled "SPIKE" for this strange poem is finally over.
