Plastic

Plastic

A Poem by Rachel Tat
"

A poem about my take on today's society.

"

I never thought the world would be this cruel.
So fake.
So plastic.

As a little girl I thought the world was perfect.
So real.
So nice.

But as I grew, I learned.
Wishes don't always come true.
You can't be yourself.
Society judges.

And I keep saying to myself...
Don't be fake or plastic.

Be real and nice.

Don't listen to them,
those demons in this polluted world.

Listen to yourself.
